Research advises that everyone with a concussion should get their neck assessed.

Most concussion symptoms resolve in adults in 7-10days and 2-4weeks in adolescents and children.

Many of the symptoms of concussion can imitate those of the brain injury itself.  So, in cases where symptoms persist beyond the normal length of time, it is very possible that your un-resolving symptoms are coming from your neck and not from your brain injury.
